Our founding story

The story of Damascus Road Bible Church began with a divine calling. Pastor M.D. Baldwin Sr. was led by God to establish a new ministry, stepping out in faith from his previous church. In obedience to God’s direction, Damascus Road Bible Church was officially founded on July 11, 2025. We believe in answering God’s call to reach souls, make disciples, and demonstrate the love of Christ through ministry and outreach, as inspired by Acts 9:6, "Arise, and go…"

Our mission and vision

Our mission is to lead people into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ through worship, prayer, biblical teaching, discipleship, compassion, and service. We empower individuals and families to grow in faith, walk in purpose, and share God’s love with the world. Our vision is to become a beacon of hope, healing, and restoration where people encounter God, discover purpose, and experience spiritual transformation. We truly believe you can “Come Expecting a Change.”

We are a thriving church where lives are changed, hope is restored, and communities are transformed by the power of God. New visitors can expect a warm and uplifting atmosphere, biblical teaching, fellowship, and spiritual growth. We are here for anyone seeking a deeper connection with Christ and a supportive spiritual family.
